There are four main components to our bodies. They are the Skeletal System which comprises of all the bones, cartilage, tendons and ligaments in the human body and is required for structure, movement, production of blood cells and minerals and to help protect vital organs. The Muscular System consisting of over 700 named muscles and is responsible for your bodies movement. The Respiratory System which main function is to provide the oxygen with blood to pump around the body. This occurs through breathing. Finally the Cardiovascular System or Circulatory System which is responsible for pumping blood and oxygen around the body. It is comprised of the heart, veins, arteries and capillaries. All these body systems work together to keep our bodies functioning.
